Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our integrated stroke team at Bury Care Organisation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in stroke rehabilitation and be able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties
  • Provide high-quality care to patients with stroke-related injuries and conditions
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans
  • Conduct assessments and interventions to promote patient independence and mobility
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of stroke services

Requirements
  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the HCPC
  • Experience in stroke rehabilitation and management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work across a range of settings and shifts
