Job Title: Junior HSE Coordinator

Lighthouse Green Fuels, a pioneering company in the field of Advanced Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior HSE Coordinator to join their team at their site in Teesside. As a key member of the site HSE team, this role will provide comprehensive support to the site HSE Manager in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with records, inspections, and monitoring activities to verify compliance with company SHEQ processes and procedures.
  • Maintain company MS SharePoint database for all company policies and procedures.
  • Support the production of risk assessments and development of safe systems of work.
  • Record follow-up actions from internal/external audit, accident investigations, and compliance audits.
  • Support the EHS Manager to conduct incident investigation and reports.
  • Support the EHS function with health and safety training.
  • Support and implement company's QHSE policies, plans, and initiatives.
  • Collate and prepare HSE data/presentations for site and submission of corporate weekly and monthly Health and Safety KPI reports.
  • Perform routine workplace inspections of the facility to ensure compliance and identify any areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • ~2+ years experience in HSE, including industrial site experience.
  • ~ IOSH Managing Safely. Possess or be working towards NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • ~ Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 would be advantageous but not essential.
  • ~ Extremely proficient with Microsoft Platforms (SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • ~ Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • ~ Driven personality with ambition to further a career in Health & Safety Management.
