We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the leadership and management of our residential care services, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the effective management of the service, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents, including the management of risk and the implementation of safety protocols.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that the needs of residents are met and their rights are respected.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making recommendations for improvement as necessary.
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of services and the achievement of organizational goals.
- Relevant experience (min. 2 years) working at a supervisory level in residential care, ideally within a children's and Learning Disabilities environment.
- Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare or Children's Workforce (or equivalent).
- Substantial, relevant experience of working in a children's home is a requirement.
- Experience of leading, coaching and mentoring a team and ensuring that relevant Codes of Conduct are upheld.
- Competent IT skills, mainly MS Office.
- Driving License would be preferable.
