We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Residential Childcare Manager to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Senior Residential Childcare Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of childcare professionals in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential childcare, with experience of working with children and young people with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities. You will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team to deliver outstanding care and support.

As a Senior Residential Childcare Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the home is run in a safe and efficient manner, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and support to our service users. You will work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure that the home meets all relevant quality standards and regulations.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare or Children's Workforce, or equivalent, and will have experience of leading, coaching and mentoring a team. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including children, young people, families and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of childcare professionals in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

  • Work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure that the home meets all relevant quality standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and effective running of the home.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to your team, and support them in their roles and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare or Children's Workforce, or equivalent.
  • Experience of leading, coaching and mentoring a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including children, young people, families and external agencies.
