Job Summary

Sinclair-Strong Consultants Ltd, a renowned psychology-led independent practice, is seeking a full-time Assistant Psychologist to join their team based at Kings Hill near Maidstone. As an integral part of the team, the post-holder will provide clinical and administrative support to process referrals, compile risk summaries, conduct audits, and provide direct assessments and psychological interventions under the supervision of an experienced Registered Psychologist.

Main Duties
  • Provide clinical support to process referrals and compile risk summaries.
  • Conduct audits and service evaluations to ensure high-quality services.
  • Deliver direct assessments and psychological interventions under supervision.
  • Prepare excellent clinical reports and carry out direct clinical work.
  • Attend meetings to discuss service developments and contribute to the design and implementation of service development projects.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of audit and research projects, including data collection, analysis, and report writing.
Person Specification
  • Essential:
    • A first-class or Upper-second class degree in Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society.
    • Relevant work experience with neurodivergent people, preferably in a clinical setting.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to explore a career in professional psychology.
  • Desirable:
    • Postgraduate training in neurodivergent issues and mental health conditions.
    • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team in a statutory or voluntary care setting.
    • High standard IT skills.
