About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Safeguarding Recovery Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our Family Safeguarding Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and interventions to families affected by substance use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and risk management plans for families affected by substance use.
  • Develop and implement personalized recovery plans, including medically assisted recovery, to support individuals and their families.
  • Deliver a range of services, including outreach, open access, and case management, to families in need.
  • Work closely with the Family Safeguarding Team to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve contractual output targets.
  • Contribute to the overall performance of the service by recording and inputting client data and information.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in a busy environment as a Recovery Worker or similar, with a deep understanding of substance use and the Recovery Agenda.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with adults and young people with a history of substance use.
  • Vocational qualification, such as an NVQ 3 or equivalent, in a relevant field.
  • Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage a varied caseload.
