We are seeking dedicated and experienced Health Care Assistants to join our team at Prometheus Safe and Secure. This position is a permanent role based in Stevenage, where you will work closely with qualified nursing personnel to ensure the safe transfer of patients and deliver exceptional care across various sectors, including trust wards and private facilities. The successful candidate will prioritize patient dignity and compassion while promoting equality and diversity in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Operations Manager and nursing staff in adhering to established policies and procedures.

- Maintain a secure and safe working environment for all.

Resource Management:

- Follow company protocols for inspecting vehicles and equipment prior to use.

- Report any issues or required stock replacements to the appropriate management personnel.

Leadership and Initiative:

- Take charge of the staffing team during patient transfers when necessary.

Safety and Security:

- Implement all security-related policies to safeguard the well-being of staff, patients, and the public.

Organizational Contribution:

- Actively participate in achieving the company’s objectives and goals.

- Understand and uphold responsibilities regarding equality, diversity, and patient rights in accordance with relevant legislation.

- Familiarize yourself with and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Communication Duties:

- Ensure accurate and timely documentation as per company policy, reporting any issues as necessary.

- Engage effectively with patients and colleagues to ascertain and address patient needs.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent teamwork capabilities.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Current experience in a compliance-oriented role.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Provisional Licences are not accepted).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Employment references covering a minimum of the last 5 years, with at least 3 years of UK employment history.
