YOUR ROLE
We are in search of a highly proficient and seasoned Full-Stack Software Engineering Senior Manager with expertise in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM) to become a vital part of our Gen AI platform team. This position is centered on the development and upkeep of cloud-native platforms tailored for Generative AI and LLM innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a robust foundation in reusable software components, frameworks, SDKs, microservices, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps/MLOps/LLMOps, with a commitment to crafting scalable, dependable, and efficient systems.

YOUR EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in Generative AI, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Natural Language Processing.
  • Over 12 years of relevant experience in delivering complex technology solutions with a strong technical foundation, preferably in a global enterprise setting.
  • At least 2 years of experience in experimenting and developing with LLMs.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in developing LLMs for production applications.
  • More than 8 years of experience leading enterprise-scale software engineering or platform engineering teams.
  • A passionate expert in Modern Engineering and DevOps practices, with a strong grasp of CI/CD, AI/ML pipelines, and automation tools.

Mandatory Experience & Skills

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Generative AI and LLM-based development.
  • Proficient in creating conversational agent-based user experiences.
  • Experienced in developing SDKs and libraries for other developers.
  • Strong familiarity with key LLM model APIs (e.g., AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI) and LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
  • Knowledge of multi-agent frameworks and their applications in complex problem-solving scenarios.
  • Expertise in constructing enterprise-grade, secure data ingestion pipelines for unstructured data, including indexing, search, and advanced retrieval patterns.
  • Proficient in generating and utilizing text embeddings with an understanding of embedding spaces and their applications in semantic search and information retrieval.
  • Experience in building knowledge graphs in production environments.
  • Familiarity with RAG concepts and fundamentals, including VectorDBs and semantic search, and expertise in implementing RAG systems that integrate knowledge bases with Generative AI models.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, NodeJS, and ReactJS, along with associated GenAI libraries and frameworks.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.

Nice to Have Experience & Skills

  • Familiarity with LLM guardrails.
  • Understanding of security considerations related to LLM integration.
  • Experience in LLM testing and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of LLM security practices.
COLLABORATION
  • Collaborating with your Gen AI Platform Engineering chapter within the Cloud and Platform Engineering Portfolio.
  • Working alongside Product Owners, Chapter Leads, and other squad members.
  • Engaging with Agile Coaches and Scrum Leads to integrate agile principles and methodologies into your daily work and receive coaching throughout the transformation process.
