Job Overview

The Procurement Analyst will support the procurement department by analyzing purchasing data, assessing vendor performance, and implementing procurement strategies that maximize cost efficiency and improve supply chain operations.

The successful candidate will use data-driven approaches to guide procurement decisions, ensuring that the organization receives high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
    Develop and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support decision-making processes.
  2. Vendor Management:
    Evaluate and monitor supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
    Assist in the development and maintenance of strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable supply and effective negotiation outcomes.
    Conduct supplier risk assessments and support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
  3. Strategic Sourcing:
    Support the strategic sourcing process by identifying potential suppliers, conducting market research, and assisting in supplier selection.
    Analyze market trends and benchmarks to inform procurement strategies and negotiations.
  4. Procurement Processes:
    Participate in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
    Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulatory requirements.
    Assist in the continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Cost Management:
    Identify cost-saving opportunities through spend analysis, supplier negotiations, and process improvements.
    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
  6. Contract Management:
    Assist in the preparation, review, and management of procurement contracts and agreements.
    Ensure that contracts are aligned with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
Requirements
  1. Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Experience:
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related analytical role.
  3. Skills and Competencies:
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
    Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    Understanding of procurement best practices and supply chain principles.
