Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to become a vital part of our commercial team, dedicated to delivering a significant project in the North East region.

Northumberland

Employment Type:
Full Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, your role will encompass:
  • Providing insights on the financial viability of projects during initial phases.
  • Structuring projects into manageable work packages for procurement purposes.
  • Evaluating bids from subcontractors and assigning work packages accordingly.
  • Engaging in negotiations with subcontractor networks to secure optimal value.
Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing actual spending against the budgeted project costs through Cost Value Reconciliation Reports (CVR).

Candidate Profile:
This position is ideal for individuals who possess:
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects within a main contracting environment.
  • Strong understanding of contractual obligations and implications.
  • Capability to mentor and guide junior team members.
