Internal Communications and Engagement Coordinator

At Ann Summers, we're seeking a highly skilled and creative Internal Communications and Engagement Coordinator to join our People and Talent team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing comprehensive colleague communications, creating engaging content, and leading the coordination and delivery of key engagement initiatives and events.
About the RoleWe're looking for a passionate and driven individual who is an exceptional communicator, both written and verbal. You will work closely with our Talent and Engagement Lead to create an outstanding experience for our colleagues and candidates, empowering them to thrive. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive colleague communications, creating engaging content
- Leading the coordination and delivery of key engagement initiatives and events
- Contributing to the ideation and planning of internal comms and engagement activities
- Finding creative ways to build colleague participation in internal comms and engagement activities
- Managing the departmental budget tracker, purchasing items as directed and logging all receipts
- Reporting on the performance of communications, engagement activities, and DE&I initiatives
- Coordinating internal colleague groups, including the social bunnies, colleague unity groups, and STRIVE
- Building effective relationships with external partners, such as Diversity in Retail and Stonewall
- Supporting employer branding activities with copy and creative management on social and employer platforms, such as Glassdoor and LinkedIn
- Providing resourcing support for the Talent team, organizing the Early Careers Assessment Days and attending Careers Fairs
- Being an active role model of our people values
We're seeking a creative thinker who is agile and results-focused, with a flexible approach to work. You will have previous experience in an internal communications role or had internal comms as part of your remit. You will possess immaculate copywriting skills that can capture the tone and voice of Ann Summers. You will show an affinity for our brand and its people values.
