Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of our backend systems, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and meet the needs of our users.
  • Collaborate with our engineering teams to design and implement new features and technologies.
  • Work closely with our product management team to understand user needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and ensuring it is well-documented and testable.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them to grow and develop their skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, and make recommendations for how we can leverage them to improve our platform.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of backend engineering experience, with a strong focus on Python.
  • 3+ years of technical leadership experience, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering results.
  • Strong experience with Terraform, Docker, AWS, and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
