Counter-Fraud Deputy Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Counter-Fraud Deputy Manager to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a key member of our Counter Fraud department, you will play a vital role in assisting the Counter Fraud Manager in the day-to-day management of the team and deputising for them in their absence.
Main Responsibilities- Assist the Counter Fraud Manager in the management of the Counter Fraud department, including supervising team investigations, fraud risk analysis, and audit work.
- Provide a high level of counter fraud services to five NHS Wales Organisations, working closely with local teams to develop and implement effective counter fraud strategies.
- Support the Counter Fraud Manager in the development and implementation of team governance and strategy, ensuring that the team is operating effectively and efficiently.
- Deputise for the Counter Fraud Manager in their absence, taking on additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements- Experience in public sector/NHS to ensure propriety.
- Experience in fraud risk analysis and management.
- Management experience, including supervising teams and developing strategies.
- Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist qualification.
- Educated to Masters Level or possession of relevant equivalent experience.
