Fraud Prevention Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Fraud Manager to develop and implement a fraud strategy for Confused.com.
This individual will be responsible for managing fraud processes and procedures to minimize the impact of fraud on Confused and key panel partners.
The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert on all fraud-related matters and the face of Confused.com within the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Confused.com's ability to detect and act upon fraudulent activity to minimize its impact on key panel metrics.
- Utilize in-house and third-party data to identify fraudulent activity on applications.
- Analyze complex datasets to interpret trends and make recommendations for process improvements to minimize the impact of fraud on Confused traffic and partners.
- Facilitate technical changes and test fraud process modifications as needed.
- Collaborate with Commercial Managers to understand panel partners' approaches to fraud and implement steps to reduce its impact.
Essential Skills
- Understanding of the impact of fraud on panel KPIs and revenue.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with the ability to maintain and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience analyzing datasets.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory and legislative issues relevant to the business.
- Commercial awareness, proactivity, forward thinking, inquisitiveness, and attention to detail.
