Job Title: Highways Site Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highways Site Manager to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our highway projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, costs, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination: Assist Project Managers in assembling scheme as-built information, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  2. Safety and Risk Management: Conduct and document weekly Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) inspections, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  3. Operational Efficiency: Implement necessary method statements, risk assessments, and permits, ensuring seamless project execution.
  4. Team Leadership: Deliver start-of-shift briefings, including Toolbox Talks and Safety Briefings, to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  5. Asset Management: Ensure the fitness-for-purpose and daily inspection of all on-site plant, machinery, and equipment, maintaining optimal performance.
  6. Communication: Keep Project/Contract Managers informed of any changes to the project scope, fostering open communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in Site Management within Highways/Civil Engineering, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
