About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Highway Engineer to join our West Yorkshire team at Waterman Aspen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing highway engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage highway engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of highway design principles, standards, and practices.
  • Utilize design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create high-quality designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading and managing highway engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of highway design principles, standards, and practices.
  • Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Experience with highway design, including alignment, grading, drainage, and pavement design.
  • Current UK experience within a public, private, or third sector UK-based client.
  • A full UK driving license is essential.
