Position Summary:
This role offers an exciting opportunity to become part of our criminal clerking division at an entry-level position as a Junior Clerk.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Junior Clerk, you will be integral in ensuring the efficient delivery of clerking services, which includes:

  • Managing diaries and ensuring equitable distribution of work
  • Recording briefs and instructions accurately
  • Monitoring court and tribunal schedules
  • Negotiating fees
  • Handling inquiries from clients via email and telephone

Qualifications:
Ideally, candidates should possess some experience in an administrative capacity within a legal or professional services setting.

Essential skills include strong written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding client service. A friendly, approachable demeanor and flexibility in collaborating with colleagues and members are also crucial.
