Position Overview

Role Summary

The Position:

As a prominent player in the lifting hire and sales market, GAP offers an extensive selection of lifting apparatus and accessories. Our inventory ranges from small shackles and slings to larger material lifts and aluminum gantries, ensuring we meet the diverse needs of our clientele.

The Lifting Engineer will be tasked with the servicing and maintenance of lifting apparatus to ensure optimal performance both at our facility and in the field. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and rectifying equipment malfunctions, maintaining service documentation, issuing test certifications, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Lifting Engineer or in a mechanically inclined role within a dynamic operational environment.

• Essential experience in diagnosing and resolving lifting equipment issues.

• LEEA certification is highly advantageous.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with team members as needed.

• A strong customer-oriented mindset and meticulous attention to detail.

• A valid driving license is preferred.
