Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Classified Worker Coordinator to join our team at Bilfinger UK Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of classified workers and radiation safety protocols.

Main Responsibilities

  • Raise and maintain accurate health records and dose records for classified workers.
  • Arrange and coordinate IR medicals, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor and manage expiry dates for ionising radiation medical examinations, ensuring classified workers attend medicals at 12 months of the last appointment date.
  • Issue and manage TLDs (Thermoluminescent Dosimeters) to project teams, providing clear instructions on their care and return.
  • Apply for notional doses to be removed from dose records, as applicable.
  • Request termination forms and provide copies of dose records to classified workers.
  • Advise the Senior RPS on classified worker status, ensuring accurate and secure record-keeping and updating of the Classified Worker Control Matrix.
  • Coordinate investigations and support in gathering relevant forms and details.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Understand and participate in workscope planning, ensuring effective coordination and communication.
  • Mobilize equipment as required, ensuring timely and efficient deployment.
  • Communicate effectively with personnel on assigned contracts, ensuring clear understanding of roles and responsibilities.
  • Review and update NDT reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage and account for NDT equipment at assigned locations, using Plant reports to track and maintain inventory.
  • Administer personnel details, timewriting, timesheet upload, and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure timely completion and recording of First trip, three monthly, and yearly trip assessments.
  • Issue sites with matrices of authorized personnel, ensuring clear communication and coordination.

  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in software applications and systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with colleagues.
