Radiation Safety CoordinatorAs a Radiation Safety Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our classified workers by managing their radiation exposure records and coordinating medical examinations.
Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate health and dose records for classified workers.
- Arrange and coordinate IR medical examinations, either directly or on behalf of project managers, engineers, or recruitment teams.
- Monitor the expiry dates of ionizing radiation medical examinations, ensuring timely renewals and adherence to 12-month intervals.
- Issue TLDs (Thermoluminescent Dosimeters) to project teams, providing instructions on their care, distribution, and return.
- Process applications for notional dose removal from dose records where applicable.
- Prepare termination forms and provide classified workers with copies of their dose records.
- Collaborate with the Senior RPS (Radiation Protection Supervisor) to address any issues related to TLD returns, ensuring accurate record-keeping and updating the Classified Worker Control Matrix.
- Support investigations by gathering relevant forms and information.
- Strong administrative skills with a desire for growth and development.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in IT applications is essential.
