Pension Administrator Job Description

Nuclear Waste Services is seeking a skilled Pension Administrator to join their team on an 18-month contract. The successful candidate will work as part of the Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) pensions team, reporting to the Head of Pensions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the management of the ESPS DB pension scheme, with a focus on project delivery.
  • Ensure the smooth running of various pension schemes operated for employees.
  • Collaborate with the third-party administrator and Head of Pensions to deliver effective services.
  • Manage risk benefits renewal, improving the robustness and efficiency of the process.
  • Perform administration and ad-hoc activities, including support for monthly payroll element reports.
Essential Requirements:
  • Strong pensions experience.
  • A collaborative team player who will work with NRS' HR, Finance, and Audit teams.
  • Prior experience in a pensions delivery role, ideally with Guaranteed Minimum Pensions (GMP) experience.
  • Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with other teams and pension trustees.
  • A recognised pensions qualification is preferred.
