Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Privacy Manager to join our team in Glasgow. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust governance frameworks for data and records management across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement data privacy policies, procedures, and monitoring the adherence to these policies across the organisation.
* Identify and assess potential risks related to data privacy and implement measures to mitigate these risks and enhance overall data protection.
* Provide data privacy training and awareness to employees by educating employees about their data privacy obligations, how to manage personal data securely, and how to identify and report data privacy breaches.
* Develop and implement an effective incident response plan for data breaches and coordinating with relevant teams to investigate and address incidents promptly.
* Partner with stakeholders to drive improvements in the understanding, appropriate use, and protection of personal data.

Vice President Expectations:

* Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
* Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
* Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
* Collaborate with other areas of work, for business-aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.
* Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives.

Requirements:

* A deep understanding of data privacy laws and regulations.
* Previous experience in supporting highly detailed data governance enterprises.
* Excellent senior stakeholder management experience.
* Excellent communication skills.
