Senior Data Governance Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Governance Analyst to enhance the quality, management, and availability of business-critical data. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Data Governance: Develop and implement data governance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
- Data Management: Manage and maintain data assets, including data cataloging, data lineage, and data flow diagrams.
- Data Quality: Identify and resolve data-related issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams to ensure that data-related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, prioritized, and actioned.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, data lineage, and data flow diagrams.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions and workshops on data governance practices and principles.
- Metrics and Dashboards: Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to develop metrics and dashboards for data quality.
- Program Strategies: Participate in the development and support of data governance program strategies, roadmaps, and project plans.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Quality.
- Proven experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with Collibra or other data cataloging tools.
- Experience with Data Quality tools, such as Ataccama, IDQ, Collibra, etc.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with database management systems.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree is required; master's degree is desired.
- Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
