As we prepare to open our doors to the public, we are looking for a dedicated and adaptable individual to help us realize our vision.
Role Overview
The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the community hub, ensuring that all facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming. This position involves collaborating with external contractors, managing facility bookings, and overseeing the daily operations of the space.
The role is based on-site, and the successful candidate must be able to commute to the location.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing effective caretaking services, including security and general maintenance of the facilities and grounds.
- Coordinating the use of the buildings for regular activities and special events.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
This is a part-time role, requiring 16 hours of work per week, with the potential for the position to evolve into a permanent opportunity as the community hub develops.
Compensation for this role is set at an annual salary of £21,255 pro-rata, with a 5% employer pension contribution available, subject to eligibility criteria.
