About the Role

The Crich Tramway Village is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer and Museum Director to lead our organization into a new era of growth and success. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our strategic vision, driving business growth, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our museum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Lead and manage a team of senior staff to achieve organizational goals and objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including members, donors, and partners
  • Oversee the development and implementation of marketing and fundraising strategies to support business growth
  • Ensure the effective management of museum operations, including finance, HR, and facilities

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role, preferably in a museum or cultural organization
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop and implement strategic plans
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
