Job Title: Site Manager

About the Role:

Caval Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee a Civils contract in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the onsite Foreman with all needs, site paperwork, client liaison, running inductions, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Update and maintain progress reports to track project milestones and deadlines.
  • Execute and uphold company protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction activities on site, including managing and providing support and guidance to the groundworks team.
  • Identify project-related issues and oversee their resolution to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Oversee and ensure the upkeep of site facilities and equipment to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Manage and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure tasks are accomplished according to schedule and within financial plan, while monitoring work quality and ensuring that construction activities meet specified standards and client expectations.
  • Carry out consistent inspections to verify quality standards are met, and maintain precise documentation of site operations, encompassing progress updates, safety evaluations, and daily records.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Manager in the Civil Engineering sector
