Environmental and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team at Executive Network Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Health, Safety and Environmental Leadership: Provide proactive and practical support, solutions, and advice to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with General Managers to drive change and improve health, safety, and environmental performance across our sites.
- Culture Development: Foster an interdependent culture where everyone is accountable for health, safety, and environmental matters and looks out for each other.
- Workforce Development: Develop, coach, and mentor employees to ensure they understand, are competent in, and comply with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with relevant stakeholders, including sites within our group, insurers, and external regulatory bodies, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Incident Investigation and Reporting: Ensure all accidents, incidents, near misses, and property damage are appropriately reported and investigated, and that the management team continually improves safety targets.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report key health, safety, and environmental performance indicators.
- Machinery Safety: Focus on machinery safety and guarding as a priority to ensure a safe working environment.
- Annual HSE Plan Development: Support the senior leadership team in developing the annual health, safety, and environmental plan and implement it on site.
- Creative Freedom: Have the opportunity to put your own stamp on our site and drive positive change.

- Best Practice Sharing: Contribute to the central health, safety, and environment team and share best practices across our sites.
- Manufacturing Experience: Have high-risk, fast-paced manufacturing exposure, ideally in food, paper, packaging, or beverage manufacturing, with machinery safety experience.
