Forensic Nurse Examiner Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Sexual Offence Nurse Examiner to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Sexual Offence Nurse Examiner, you will play a critical role in providing assessments and evidence that inform legal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform holistic, forensic clinical assessments for children, young people, and adults who experienced sexual assault, with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Interact sensitively, ensuring a trauma-informed approach to care supporting self-referrals along with police referrals.
- Uphold the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality in documentation and evidence handling.
- Co-produce individual management plans tailored to the needs of each client.
- Provide testimony in court, contributing to the integrity of legal proceedings.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development as part of our Novice to Expert programme.
- Lead initiatives, mentor peers, and engage in programmes designed to enhance professional skills and service delivery, including our partners.

Requirements:
- Registered Nurses with experience or an interest in forensic and legal medicine and a minimum of 3 years post qualification.
- Committed to undertaking a comprehensive competency framework.
- Must have or be willing to work towards master's level study, complete educational courses and work towards being able to provide testimony to court.

- Subject to police vetting and 3 years of UK residency
