Forensic Nurse Examiner Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Sexual Offence Nurse Examiner to join our multidisciplinary team at Nurture Health and Care Ltd. As a Sexual Offence Nurse Examiner, you will play a critical role in providing assessments and evidence that inform legal outcomes.
About the Role:You will be based from home whilst on shift, responding and attending the SARC according to demand. Travel will be required to facilitate your initial training and shadowing. Then on occasions going forward.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform holistic, forensic clinical assessments for children, young people, and adults who experienced sexual assault, with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Interact sensitively, ensuring a trauma-informed approach to care supporting self-referrals along with police referrals.
- Uphold the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality in documentation and evidence handling.
- Co-produce individual management plans tailored to the needs of each client.
- Provide testimony in court, contributing to the integrity of legal proceedings.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development as part of our Novice to Expert programme.
- Lead initiatives, mentor peers, and engage in programmes designed to enhance professional skills and service delivery, including our partners.

Person Specification:We are looking for a Registered Nurse with experience or an interest in forensic and legal medicine and a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience. You must have or be willing to work towards master's level study, complete educational courses and work towards being able to provide testimony to court.
