Job Title: Forensic Nurse Examiner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Nurse Examiner to join our team at Nurture Health and Care Ltd. As a Forensic Nurse Examiner, you will play a critical role in providing assessments and evidence that inform legal outcomes for children, young people, and adults who have experienced sexual assault.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform holistic, forensic clinical assessments with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Interact sensitively, ensuring a trauma-informed approach to care.
  • Uphold the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality in documentation and evidence handling.
  • Provide testimony in court, contributing to the integrity of legal proceedings.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development as part of our Novice to Expert programme.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to develop a specialized career that significantly impacts the care of clients. As a Forensic Nurse Examiner, you will be based from home while on shift, responding and attending the SARC according to demand. Travel will be required for initial training and shadowing.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurses with experience or an interest in forensic and legal medicine and a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Must have or be willing to work towards master's level study, complete educational courses, and work towards being able to provide testimony to court.
