Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Estates Department at Vale of Leven Hospital. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing a safe, effective, and efficient estates service to support clinical and administrative activities within our healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance and repair services in relation to all aspects of engineering and building services, plant, and equipment.
- Work on all sites and properties within the remit of the department as routinely required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide a comprehensive estates service that meets the needs of our patients and staff.
- Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in electrical engineering and related disciplines.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and plans to ensure the optimal performance of our facilities.
- SVQ Level 4 Higher National Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Post-apprenticeship experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record of practical skills and application within the trade.
- Ability to work unscheduled overtime or unsocial hours to undertake and complete emergency repairs.
- Valid UK driving license for category 'B' class of vehicle.
