Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Estates Department at Vale of Leven Hospital. The successful candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background and be responsible for providing a safe, effective, and efficient estates service to support clinical and administration activities within Healthcare and Acute Hospital Facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance and repair services in relation to all aspects of engineering and building services, plant, and equipment.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide a comprehensive estates service.
- Undertake work of other disciplines for which training will be provided as necessary.
- Ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
- A recognized and registered apprenticeship with post-apprenticeship experience in Electrical Engineering equivalent to SVQ Level 4 Higher National Diploma, Modern Apprenticeship – Level 4, Professional Development Awards (SCQF – 8-9).
- A proven track record demonstrating practical core skills and application within the trade.
- A current full UK Drivers Licence for category 'B' class of vehicle.
