Recruit UK is excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a skilled Paraplanner to become part of a reputable Wealth Management Firm.

They are on the lookout for either a Junior Paraplanner or a seasoned Paraplanner to join their dedicated paraplanning team, providing essential support to their Financial Advisers.

The paraplanning team is responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis, as well as crafting high-quality suitability reports that facilitate the delivery of exceptional holistic financial planning services.

The ideal candidate will be tasked with delivering Paraplanning support while adhering to established business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical and research assistance to the financial planners
  • Support the compliance department and the support team as needed
  • Draft suitability reports and summaries of recommendations for the processing team
  • Challenge the planner's recommendations when necessary
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of the firm's centralized investment offerings
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of client records on the internal system

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in paraplanning
  • Possession of a Level 4 Diploma or a minimum of three years of relevant experience without the Level 4 qualification
  • Entry-level paraplanning candidates are also encouraged to apply

Additional Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, business, law, or a related discipline, along with a relevant professional certification (e.g., ICA Diploma in Compliance)
  • Demonstrated experience in a compliance role within a financial services organization, ideally in an FCA-regulated setting
  • Comprehensive understanding of FCA regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices
  • Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management software
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet deadlines
