About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified professional to join our diverse and innovative team as a Senior Practitioner in Redbridge CAMHS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Service Front Door, triaging, initial assessments, and duty team activities.

As a Senior Practitioner, you will have a high standard of CAMHS knowledge and experience of working with young people who are experiencing a range of mental health presentations. You will be passionate about ensuring there are robust and informative assessments in place for your young people and their families, and committed to collaborative working across the Borough and utilizing the skills, experience, and contribution of delivery partners across Health, Education, and Social Care.

We are looking for leaders in practice who can steer and support in the therapeutic approaches available from within NELFT and in the Community. You will be responsible for supporting young people with time-sensitive and compassionate assessments, with appropriate escalation to the medical team as required.

NELFT North East London Foundation Trust is committed to delivering services within a recovery-focused and socially inclusive approach. We strive to provide a high-quality, timely, accessible, and evidence-based service to all service users who need it.

We place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, which will include mandatory training, systems training, and the allocation of equipment.
