About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our practice. This is a crucial role that requires strong leadership, business acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and financial sustainability by adhering to contractual standards and implementing effective financial management practices.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the practice team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Drive innovation and modernization initiatives to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and national contracts, ensuring compliance and reporting requirements are met.
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of dental services, engaging with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to monitor quality of care and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage staff effectively, including recruitment, training, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with other organizations to benefit the practice and enhance patient care.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the premises, equipment, and patients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage all financial aspects of the practice, including income, expenditure, accounts, and financial reporting.
  • Implement and maintain systems and procedures as directed by partners.
  • Handle patient inquiries and suggestions, overseeing the practice's complaints procedure.
  • Review and update the practice's information leaflet and website to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Manage practice publicity and health education materials.
  • Oversee the computer system, including maintenance and development.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection legislation.
  • Prepare business plans and annual reports as directed by partners.
