About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web / Application Developer C# /.Net to join our Business Solutions Team at Launch Resources Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining existing systems and developing software components as part of a team or on your own.

Main Responsibilities
  1. System Maintenance and Development: Ensure the stability and performance of our in-house developed systems, making enhancements and fixes as required.
  2. Third-Line Support: Provide technical support to our team and other stakeholders, resolving complex issues and escalating as necessary.
  3. Process Implementation: Follow established standards and procedures to deliver consistent and measurable results, implementing change and release management processes as part of the software development lifecycle.
  4. Proactive Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve potential issues before they become incidents, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.
Requirements
  1. Technical Expertise: Excellent knowledge of C#, the.NET Framework, and SQL-based databases, with good knowledge of SQL 2008 or SQL 2012 and Visual Studio 2008 or Visual Studio 2010.
  2. Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and test-driven development, with knowledge of standards for web development (such as HTML & CSS) and accessibility requirements for internally developed systems.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work effectively with other team members, stakeholders, and end-users, providing solutions that meet their needs and expectations.
  4. Time Management and Organization: Excellent deadline and personal time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
