Environmental Engineering Specialist

Working Hours: Full-time, 07:30 am - 16:30 pm
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum
Travel: Company vehicle provided for work-related travel
We are seeking a motivated and skilled engineering professional to join our expanding team, responsible for the installation and maintenance of our Envirohub temporary water treatment systems throughout the UK. The range of water treatment solutions includes, but is not limited to, clarifiers, chemical dosing control panels, mixing tanks for coagulation, flocculation, and pH management, as well as oil removal and sludge handling systems.
As a multi-faceted organization, this team also occasionally assists other departments with the installation of temporary heating, ventilation, and environmental monitoring systems.
Typically, installations require 1-2 days, with some projects necessitating overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute on-site technical engineering installations across the UK.
• Commission and enhance water treatment processes on-site.
• Collaborate with and guide site agents in the operation of equipment.
• Lead a small team of engineers during larger installation projects.
• Address equipment breakdowns as needed.
• Uphold a high standard of health and safety awareness on-site.
• Assist in the electrical and mechanical inspection of equipment prior to deployment.
• Support the maintenance and repair of equipment in the 'ready for hire' process.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience in the water treatment sector is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in an electrical, mechanical, or technical capacity.
• Electrical qualifications are preferred.
• Health & Safety certification to Level 3 is advantageous.
• CSCS Card (or equivalent) is required for work.
• Valid driving license is essential.
• Proficient IT skills in MS 365.
