Environmental Water Systems Engineer

Working Hours: Full-time, 07:30 am - 16:30 pm
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum
Travel: Company vehicle provided for business purposes
We are seeking a motivated and skilled technical engineer to become part of our expanding team, responsible for the field deployment and maintenance of our Envirohub temporary water treatment solutions throughout the UK. The scope of our water treatment offerings includes, but is not limited to, clarifiers, chemical dosing control systems, mixing tanks for coagulation, flocculation, and pH management, as well as oil removal and sludge processing.
As a multi-disciplinary organization, this team also provides occasional support to other departments in the installation of temporary heating, ventilation, and environmental monitoring systems.
Typically, installations are completed within 1-2 days, although some may require overnight stays due to distance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute on-site technical engineering installations across the UK.
• Commission and enhance water treatment processes on-site.
• Collaborate with and guide site representatives on equipment operation.
• Lead a small team of engineers during larger installation projects.
• Address equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Uphold a high standard of health and safety awareness on-site.
• Assist in the electrical and mechanical evaluation of equipment prior to rental.
• Support the maintenance and repair of equipment in the 'ready for hire' phase.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Essential experience in the water treatment sector.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in an electrical, mechanical, or technical capacity.
• Electrical qualifications are preferred.
• Health & Safety certification to Level 3 is advantageous.
• CSCS Card (or equivalent) is required for work.
• A clean driving license is mandatory.
• Proficient IT skills in MS 365.
