The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive administration and information service across the Community & Wellbeing Network, ensuring seamless coordination with other team members to deliver an efficient and confidential service.

This role will be aligned to Preston East Admin Hub based at Geoffrey Street Health Centre, requiring flexibility to respond to the needs of the Locality's administrative service. The post holder may be required to provide reception and clinical admin cover at other clinics and health centres in the Preston locality as directed by their administration line manager, to ensure continuity of a quality reception and admin service provision.

Main Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a good standard of education with qualifications in English, Maths, and Word Processing. Excellent computer skills are essential, with a strong focus on administration experience to provide a professional service to clinical teams. The post holder will also require excellent interpersonal and customer care skills, with the ability to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative.

Key Requirements
  • ECDL or equivalent experience
  • Working with databases and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience working in an office environment and with members of the public
  • Good grammar and numeracy skills, excellent keyboard skills, and data input and retrieval abilities
