About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Accounts Payable Administrator, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of our day-to-day operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of Purchase Order invoice transactions in an accurate and timely manner, adhering to our Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Take ownership of clearing incomplete invoices and ensuring a target rate of at least 70% first-time matching for PO invoices is achieved.
- Effectively manage and clear aged creditor balances, taking responsibility for reducing debit balances.
- Clear, reconcile, and reprocess all rejected payments on the bank statement.
- Responsible for the invoice matching process and managing any mismatches or discrepancies through our financial system.
- Monitor our inboxes daily for all invoices submitted via email, ensuring all service levels are being adhered to.
- Regularly follow up on invoices processed but not approved, ensuring all invoices comply with our contractual payment terms.
- Liaise with various departments within Ocado Logistics to ensure all queries are resolved in a timely manner.
- Contribute to team initiatives outside of your role and support other areas within the department as required.
About You
- Able to make straightforward decisions regarding your own work and manage more complex issues on behalf of the team.
- Has previous knowledge and skills within an Accounts Payable department, in a high-volume processing environment.
- Proven experience in financial application software packages (ideally Oracle Fusion).
- Able to identify and solve any issues/discrepancies that arise using your own judgment, proactively seeking solutions in existing practices.
