Zinc Network is a mission-driven organization dedicated to creating meaningful and measurable change in tackling some of the world's most pressing challenges. We design and implement programs, interventions, and strategic communications campaigns focused on issues like disinformation, extremism, media manipulation, and authoritarianism.

Headquartered in London with offices in Washington and Warsaw, our team of 80+ professionals from diverse backgrounds collaborates with a wide range of clients, including governmental agencies, NGOs, and private sector organizations. These partners span across the globe, encompassing institutions like the UK Home Office (HO), the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Department of State (DOS), UN agencies and missions, and various foundations.

The Director of Programming will lead Zinc Network's global programming and project management functions, ensuring successful project delivery while driving new business development. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to effectively manage and develop a high-performing team.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this Senior position plays a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of our impactful organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Development:
    • Provide clear vision and direction for programming and project management teams globally.
    • Refine program management processes, workflows, templates, and quality control measures to ensure excellence in execution.
    • Inspire, develop, and motivate high-performing teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Strategic Program Delivery:
    • Oversee the successful planning, implementation, and monitoring of complex, multi-million dollar projects across diverse sectors.
    • Ensure alignment of project activities with organizational strategic objectives and donor requirements.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges to program success.
  • Business Development and Growth:
    • Identify new funding opportunities and develop compelling proposals to secure resources for impactful initiatives.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and government agencies.
    • Contribute to the development of innovative program strategies that address emerging global challenges.
