About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join the Countess of Chester Hospital as a Deputy Chief People Officer, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for developing and delivering our People Strategy, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving operational excellence in the People Directorate.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide strong visible leadership to ensure the delivery of excellent people services and promote a culture of innovation, flexibility, responsiveness, and high performance within the People Directorate.
- Ensure the political, financial, and professional probity, credibility, and sustainability of the Directorate and Trust are considered in all activities.
- Lead the People Directorate's professional development to ensure the people profession has the requisite skills and knowledge to meet the requirements for future people service delivery and the Long-Term Workforce Plan.
- Substantial experience in a senior people leadership role overseeing a range of people functions.
