About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control Assistant to join our Pharmacy Quality Assurance Department at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will provide support and maintain Quality Assurance functions within the main pharmacy, ensuring compliance with procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the QC/QA Officer with the running of the QA/QC Laboratory, maintaining an efficient system of workflow and safe working practices.
- Carry out Microbiological Environmental Monitoring and non-routine monitoring as required.
- Assist in the Microbiological/chemical/physical testing of samples, water, raw materials, finished products, stability samples, or new deliveries of media.
- Support the Pharmacy Quality Assurance team in ensuring regulatory requirements and standards are met.

Essential
- Previous experience working in pharmacy/drug manufacturing environment or equivalent.
Desirable
- Experience of working in a GMP/GLP laboratory.
