We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Quality Assurance team as Head of Quality and Standards. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and leading the successful strategy and operation of the quality assurance function for regulated qualifications and unregulated products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead on determining standards and monitoring requirements to ensure quality of provision and compliance in centres.
- Manage and motivate the quality assurance team to deliver high performance and engagement.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and liaison.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments to ensure continuous improvement.
- At least 5 years' experience in a quality assurance function, preferably in an awarding organisation.
- Experience of working with regulatory requirements, including Ofqual General Conditions of Recognition and Qualification Wales' Standard Conditions of Recognition.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of managing a team of staff and associates.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience of liaising with external stakeholders.
- Positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
