About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Pharmacy Quality Assurance Department at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Pharmacy Quality Assurance team in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards set by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
  • Provide quality assurance functions within the main pharmacy, maintaining current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements.
  • Assist the QC/QA Officer in the running of the QA/QC Laboratory, ensuring efficient workflow and safe working practices.
  • Carry out microbiological environmental monitoring and testing of samples, water, raw materials, finished products, and stability samples.
  • Assist in the testing of samples provided by internal or external customers, in accordance with supplied specifications or limits.
