Key Responsibilities- Market Expertise: Develop and communicate a deep understanding of Vicon's competitive advantages and go-to-market strategies to customers and stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with resellers, end-users, and design consultants in the territory by providing exceptional support and knowledge of Vicon's solutions.
- Sales Growth: Utilize relationships to drive sales growth of Vicon's products and solutions to resellers in the territory.
- Lead Generation: Network in the market to identify sources of lead opportunities and follow them through to closure.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Collaborate with Vicon's staff to report sales activity and opportunity via our CRM system, ensuring accurate demand information for production manufacturing.
- Marketing Support: Work with Vicon Marketing to support branding requirements and assess marketing needs in the channel.
- Travel and Communication: Conduct regular personal meetings and sales calls in the territory, with up to 65% travel required.
- Experience: At least three years of experience in sales management in a technology sector or B-to-B.
- Skills: Self-confidence, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to operate as a team leader.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of video technologies, network design/troubleshooting, and software.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 65% as needed.
