Hours: 36 per week, 39 weeks sessional

Castleview Primary School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Early Years Practitioner to enhance our Nursery Team as we progress on our educational journey.

The ideal candidate will foster learning across the Early Years level, establishing a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages children and young people to build self-esteem, confidence, and mutual respect. They will also create a stimulating educational atmosphere where each child is motivated to achieve their fullest potential.

Our institution is located in a community focused on positive action, and all staff members must be adept at managing challenging behaviors and learning difficulties. This position involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The selected candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If an individual has spent a continuous period of three months or more outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be necessary. This check must be provided. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the role will be contingent upon the satisfactory outcome of these pre-employment checks.
