Job Opportunity: Casual Early Years Educator

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a passionate and engaging Early Years Educator to provide cover as and when needed by the nursery for periods of holiday, sickness, and supporting with vacancy gaps.
  • This could be full day, morning or afternoon sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage a love of learning through high-quality teaching.
  • Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences.
  • Work in partnership with the existing educator team to create an inspiring working environment and to ensure the successful running of the nursery.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification within early years preferred, however unqualified Educators will also be considered if you can demonstrate the necessary values and enthusiasm for working within this environment.
  • Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5, is advantageous.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.
  • Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness, and working together.

What We Offer:

  • Rates of pay: From £13.68 – qualified Educators – dependent on qualifications and experience.
  • From £6.40 - £11.44 – unqualified Educators – as per NMW rate and demonstrable skills and experience.
