About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Culinary Team Member to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the Sous Chef and Kitchen Manager to ensure efficient food production and minimal wastage.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health and safety, identifying any anomalies and reporting incidents to management.
  • Assist the Sous Chef with post-analysis and ensure all shift opening and closing checklists are completed.
  • Learn and implement procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks, including preparation of service areas and service points.
  • Present a professional image at all times, maintaining personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations.
  • Comply with and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company's health and safety and equal opportunity policies.
Requirements
  • Relevant culinary qualification and previous experience of working in a kitchen.
  • Certificate in food safety (or willingness to obtain via online e-learning).
  • Excellent team player and communicator, with a strong commitment to customer service.
  • DBS and security checks required.
