**Job Summary**

Wax Lyrical Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team in the beautiful Lake District. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting company profitability and performance.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Produce accurate, timely, and relevant management information, including weekly KPI reports, monthly management accounts, weekly and monthly sales/margin analyses.
  • Conduct reviews with budget holders and evaluate spend against sales performance.
  • Manage the finance team and oversee the audit process, liaising directly with auditors.
  • Control the fixed asset system, ensure capital projects are monitored and reviewed post completion.
  • Manage cash forecast submissions and oversee the company's royalty obligations.
  • Process and report VAT across various tax authorities and ensure understanding of export and import compliance requirements.

**Requirements**

  • CIMA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
